Assigned Objects

Objects can be assigned to users. Users with project label permissions can assign Draft level objects to themselves or to other users who have a role in the project.

Assignments help teams organize work and track which users are responsible for or working on specific objects.

The count of the user's assigned objects are displayed on the user home page in the 'My Assignments' count and can be viewed in the My Assignments page.

Assigned objects also appear in object list views with an indicator showing which users are assigned.

An assignment includes:

• The object being assigned

• The user(s) assigned to the object

• Who made the assignment

• When the assignment was made

Assignments are automatically removed when:

• The assigned object is deleted

• The container (Draft, Project, URL, or Organization) is deleted
