URL Configuration

Important

Changes to URL Configuration may affect all Projects and Drafts within the URL. For example, changing the name of a Marking or Review Group will change all Edit Check, Field and Form references to the new name.

Forms and Edit checks reference EDC Roles, Review Groups and other elements of the Medidata Rave Core Configuration. These are included in TrialGrid to make it easier to create edit checks and check study design with Diagnostics.

Review Groups

A Medidata Rave URL can have up to 10 Review Groups which can each be used to mark a datapoint reviewed. Typically Review Groups have names like "Data Management" and "Safety". TrialGrid allows the entry of 10 Review Groups and whether these groups are active or not.

Marking Groups

Medidata Rave URLs can have up to 29 Marking Groups, communication channels for messages between different types of users (e.g. SystemToSite, SiteToCRA). TrialGrid allows the entry of 29 Marking Groups and whether these groups are active or not. The Category section is optional in TrialGrid, it is used in Medidata Rave to determine the purpose of the Marking Group for aggregate reporting across studies.

EDC Roles

Every user working in the EDC module of Medidata Rave has a Role. TrialGrid allows the names of these Roles to be entered to support Edit Check creation and study design checks via Diagnostics. An EDC Role can be active or inactive.

Subject Status

Edit checks may reference Subject Status. The URL configuration allows the possible Subject Status values to be entered so that Edit Checks can reference these values.

Deviation Classes and Codes

Deviations in Medidata Rave have both a class and a code. TrialGrid allows the entry of these classes and codes to assist in writing Edit Checks that reference these values and to check them in Diagnostics.

Note

You can import Core configuration settings from a Rave Core Config File or from another URL in TrialGrid See upload a Core Configuration File downloaded from Rave.
